Abstract

The invention relates to a method for constructing a building, comprising:-providing interlockable construction panels, each comprising side edges, wherein the side edges comprise indentations and/or projections configured to provide a mating and interlocking connection with respectively projections and/or indentations of another construction panel; -forming a box-like structure comprising a floor, a ceiling and multiple two walls by: ˜connecting a floor subset of panels to each other to form a floor that extends in a first and second direction; ˜providing at least two wall subsets of panels; ˜connecting the panels of each wall subset to each other and to the floor subset to form a wall; and ˜connecting a ceiling subset of panels to each other and to at least part of the panels of the walls to form a ceiling. The invention also relates to a construction assembly and a building.

Dependent claims

Method for constructing a building, the method comprising:

providing a number of interlockable construction panels, wherein each construction panel comprises a number of side edges and wherein at least one of the number of side edges comprises one or more indentations and/or projections that are configured to provide a mating and interlocking connection with respectively projections and/or indentations of a second or further construction panel;
and
forming a box-like structure comprising a floor, a ceiling and at least two walls, wherein forming the box-like structure comprises:
connecting a floor subset of interlockable construction panels to each other to form a floor that extends in a first and second direction;
providing at least two wall subsets of interlockable construction panels;
connecting the interlockable construction panels of each wall subset to each other and to the floor subset to form a wall;
and
connecting a ceiling subset of interlockable construction panels to each other and to at least part of the interlockable construction panels of the walls to form a ceiling.

A construction assembly for constructing a building, the assembly comprising:

a number of interlockable construction panels, wherein each construction panel comprises a number of side edges, and wherein at least one of the number of side edges comprises one or more indentations and/or projections that are configured to provide a mating and interlocking connection with respectively projections and/or indentations of a second or further construction panel,
wherein the number of interlockable construction panels comprises a floor subset, a ceiling subset and at least two wall subsets,
wherein the floor subset comprises one or more interlockable construction panels that are connectable to each other to build a floor,
wherein at least two wall subsets each comprise one or more interlockable construction panels, wherein the interlockable construction panels of each wall subset are connectable to each other and to the floor subset to build a wall,
wherein the ceiling subset comprises one or more interlockable construction panels that are connectable to each other and to at least part of the interlockable construction panels of the at least two wall subsets to build a ceiling, and
wherein the floor subset, the at least two wall subsets and the ceiling subset are configured to, when connected to each other, form a substantially box-like structure.
