Abstract
A method for producing a compound having a dicarboxylic acid derivative structure includes a reaction step of reacting an olefin, an alcohol, carbon monoxide, and oxygen with each other in the presence of a heterogeneous catalyst in which a carrier supports a palladium-containing compound, and an ammonium salt. The ammonium salt is preferably ammonium chloride. The olefin is preferably an alicyclic olefin.
