An automobile hydraulic brake-by-wire system and a control method thereof are provided. The automobile hydraulic brake-by-wire system comprises a liquid storage tank, and a pedal feel control oil path and a pressure-boosted brake control oil path which are connected with the liquid storage tank, the pedal feel control oil path is connected in parallel with the pressure-boosted brake control oil path via decoupling isolation solenoid valves, and the pedal feel control oil path comprises a single-cavity main cylinder and a pedal feel simulator connected through an oil path. The presently disclosed system reduces the structural complexity of the braking system, solves the problem of fluctuations in the pedal feel, and realizes reliable wheel braking.
