Abstract

A label cutter includes a blade having a curved cutting edge configured and arranged to move towards a platen in order to cut a label material placed therebetween. The blade includes opposite first and second sides, wherein each of the first and second sides includes a groove or pocket for capturing adhesive. The label cutter may be incorporated into a label printer, such as a weighing scale that includes a label printhead.
