Abstract
A laser welding method for welding a first base material and a second base material that overlap each other by scanning a laser beam along a scanning direction, in which the second base material is different in material and type from the first base material, and an insert material having a base material and a minute penetration space provided in the base material is interposed between the first base material and the second base material.
