Abstract
A gymnastic exercise machine, particularly for Pilates and similar exercises, including a frame, predominantly extending along a longitudinal direction, and a support bar, for a user's support during gymnastic exercises, and a method of adjusting the gymnastic exercise machine. The support bar has a first end and a second end. The gymnastic exercise machine also includes an adjustment device, coupled to the first end of the support bar and to the frame. The adjustment device is configured to allow the adjustment of the position of the support bar relative to the frame, when the support bar is translated in a transverse direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the frame.
Claims29
A gymnastic exercise machine, comprising:
- a frame predominantly extending along a longitudinal direction;
- and
- a support bar for a user's support during gymnastic exercises, wherein said support bar has a first end and a second end,
- wherein said gymnastic exercise machine comprises an adjustment device, coupled to said first end of said support bar and to said frame,
- wherein said adjustment device is configured to allow adjustment of a position of said support bar relative to said frame when said support bar is translated in a transverse direction orthogonal to said longitudinal direction of said frame, and
- wherein said first end of said support bar is coupled to said adjustment device so as to assume:
- an angular locking position, wherein said first end is fixed relative to rotation to said frame;
- and
- an angular unlocking position, wherein said support bar is rotatable relative to said frame around a first rotational axis and a second rotational axis aligned with said transverse direction to allow angular adjustment.
