Abstract
The present disclosure relates to an inhaler component for producing a steam/air mixture or/and condensation aerosol in an intermittent and inhalation- or pull-synchronous manner, the inhaler component including: a housing; a chamber arranged in the housing; an air inlet opening for the supply of air from the surroundings to the chamber; an electrical heating element for evaporating a portion of a liquid material; and a wick having a capillary structure, which wick forms a composite structure with the heating element and automatically supplies the heating element with fresh liquid material after evaporation.
Claims30
An inhalator device comprising a disposable inhalator component that includes:
- a housing;
- a mouthpiece;
- a chamber in the housing;
- an electric heater configured to heat a liquid in the chamber and form a vapor;
- and
- a pair of plate-like heater contacts that are in contact electrically with the electric heater with each of the plate-like heater contacts including a protruding portion that protrudes out of an outer surface of the housing of the disposable inhalator component;
- wherein the housing forms an air admission opening for the supply of air into the chamber so that the air mixes with the vapor to form one or both of a vapor-air mixture and a condensation aerosol.
An inhalator device comprising a disposable inhalator component that includes:
- a housing;
- a mouthpiece;
- a chamber in the housing;
- an electric heater configured to heat a liquid and form a vapor in the chamber;
- an air admission opening arranged to supply air into the chamber;
- and
- a pair of plate-like heater contacts that are in contact electrically with the electric heater;
- wherein a region between the pair of plate-like heater contacts defines a heated section of the electric heater with the heated section being arranged in the chamber.
