Abstract
A composition comprising a mixture of fatty acids such as linoleic, oleic, and palmitic acids or derivatives thereof derived from secretions of mammalian mammary glands. This composition can be utilized to decrease stress, anxiety, and aggressiveness in mammals.

A method of reducing mortality or morbidity in a mammal in need thereof;
- the method comprising administering a formulation to the mammal, wherein the formulation comprises a fatty acid composition comprising about 0.5-52.2% (wt/wt %) myristic acid, or derivative thereof.
