Abstract
A washable integrated absorbent assembly for an absorbent article including an absorbent layer and a liquid barrier. The absorbent layer is of a knitted material having first and second surfaces, the first surface having a loop structure. The knitted absorbent material includes a major amount of viscose, and further includes cotton and polyester.

A washable integrated absorbent assembly for an absorbent article, the assembly extending in a longitudinal direction and having a transverse direction, and comprising an absorbent layer and a liquid barrier, the absorbent layer being of a knitted material having a first and a second surface, the first surface having a loop structure, wherein the knitted absorbent material comprises more than 50% by weight viscose and further comprises cotton and polyester.
