A microbial oil, comprising
- a triacylglycerol fraction from 65% to 98%, by weight, of a total weight of the microbial oil;
- from 20% to 45%, by weight, of EPA based on the total weight of the microbial oil;
- from 10% to 40%, by weight, of DHA based on the total weight of the microbial oil;
- and
- from 0.1% to 5%, by weight, of ARA based on the total weight of the microbial oil;
- and
- wherein the amount of EPA is from 36% to 65%, by weight, of a total amount of the EPA and DHA.
