Abstract
A vehicle drive device includes: a rotating electrical machine including a rotor and a stator; an inverter device electrically connected to the rotating electrical machine; a control board configured to control the rotating electrical machine; a rotation angle sensor configured to acquire information on rotation of the rotor; and a case that houses the rotating electrical machine, the inverter device, and the control board in a common housing chamber. The rotation angle sensor includes a sensing unit mounted on the control board and a detection target portion provided on a shaft portion of the rotor.

A vehicle drive device comprising:
- a rotating electrical machine including a rotor and a stator;
- an inverter device electrically connected to the rotating electrical machine;
- a control board configured to control the rotating electrical machine;
- a rotation angle sensor configured to acquire information on rotation of the rotor;
- and
- a case that houses the rotating electrical machine, the inverter device, and the control board in a common housing chamber, wherein
- the rotation angle sensor includes a sensing unit mounted on the control board and a detection target unit provided on a shaft portion of the rotor.
