Abstract

A detachable vent register distributes condition air across an area of interest includes a detachable vent grille with multiple conditioned air supply apertures, a skit profile, a fastening member access, and supporting ledges. The conditioned air supply apertures may be inclined at a predetermined angle to enhance the spread and throw of air. An air flow regulator body, positioned beneath the bottom surface of the vent grille, includes a tab and multiple air regulator slots, allowing adjustment relative to the apertures to regulate air flow. A detachable mounting bracket features an indexing member, center position marking slot, locking member, releasing member, retaining member, and fastening slots. The mounting bracket is securely positioned on the floor or to the ceiling or air supply boot using screws, with the indexing member removed after installation. The locking and releasing members enable easy attachment and removal of the detachable vent grille without tools.

A detachable vent register for air distribution, comprising:

a detachable grille configured to:
distribute conditioned air;
a plurality of mounting brackets, each mounting bracket configured to:
secure the detachable vent grille, and facilitate attachment and detachment of the detachable grille;
an air regulator body configured to:
control air flow through the detachable grille, and be adjustably positioned relative to the detachable grille;
wherein the detachable grille is removably coupled to the plurality of mounting brackets;
the air regulator body is operatively associated with the detachable grille;
and
the detachable vent register is adaptable for installation on various surfaces including floors, ceilings.
