High strength nickel-plated heat-treated steel sheet for battery case and manufacturing method thereof

A method for manufacturing a nickel-plated heat-treated steel sheet, the method comprising:

• manufacturing a plated sheet by forming a nickel plating layer on at least one surface of a base steel sheet containing 0.002 to 0.05 wt % of carbon (C);
• and
• manufacturing an intermediate by subjecting the plated sheet to an alloying heat treatment, wherein the alloying heat treatment is carried out by including,
• raising the temperature of the plated sheet to perform soaking;
• and
• cooling the soaked plated sheet to manufacture an intermediate, wherein the soaking is performed at 650 to 720° C., and the alloying heat treatment is performed under the condition of the following Equation 2.
