Abstract
Compositions, such as adhesive compositions, are described comprising a cleavable crosslinker. The composition further comprise an epoxy resin and/or at least one other free-radically polymerizable monomer, oligomer, polymer, or combination thereof. Also described are adhesive articles and methods of bonding.
Claims22
A composition comprising:
- a) an epoxy resin;
- and
- b) a cleavable crosslinker comprising at least two free-radically polymerizable groups, with the proviso that the cleavable crosslinker does not contain a nitrogen-nitrogen bond.
A cleavable crosslinker of the formula:
- R1 is independently hydrogen or methyl;
- L1 is independently a divalent linking group;
- and
- wherein X is C and together with R2 and R3 is a cycloaliphatic group.
