Abstract
The present disclosure relates to a method for preparing diisocyanate that has high purity, and has excellent stability even during long-term storage, and thus, has little whitening.
Claims8
A method for preparing diisocyanate comprising:
- a reaction step in which diamine or a salt thereof is reacted with phosgene to obtain a reaction mixture;
- and
- a purification step in which diisocyanate is separated from the reaction mixture,
- wherein the purification step is conducted at a temperature less than 170° C. for 16 hours or less.
