An attachment for a drinking device for the retronasal perception of an aroma substance, the attachment comprising:

• an adapter configured to be fluid-tightly attached to a storage container for drinking liquid;
• a head part configured to be detachably fastened to the adapter;
• an aroma container through which air can flow and which is configured to be fastened to the head part;
• and
• a transport channel for drinking liquid, which is configured to be fastened to the head part;
• wherein
• the adapter comprises a first adapter part and a second adapter part;
• and
• the first adapter part is adapted to be attached to the storage container and to be attached to the second adapter part;
• and
• the second adapter part comprises a first opening having a first longitudinal axis and a second opening having a second longitudinal axis;
• and
• the first longitudinal axis is at an angle to the second longitudinal axis, which is at least 20°.
