Abstract
The present disclosure refers to a pelletizing device for a dry battery electrode (DBE) manufacturing process. The pelletizing device, that allows more flexibility throughout the DBE manufacturing process, includes two rolls arranged in parallel to one another, wherein the rolls rotate in opposite directions. At least one of the rolls includes a plurality of cavities in which pellets can be formed. The structure of the cavities is based on the desired shape and size of the pellets.
Claims15
A pelletizing device for a dry battery electrode (DBE), the pelletizing device comprising:
- two rolls arranged in parallel to one another, wherein the rolls rotate in opposite directions,
- wherein at least one of the rolls comprises a plurality of cavities configured to form pellets, and
- wherein a structure of the cavities is based on a desired shape and size of the pellets.
