Abstract
A functional trainer system for incorporation into a frame includes a base structure including a first cross brace configured for attachment laterally between two opposing sides of the frame at a base and rear end of the frame; a weight stack unit configured to seat at least partially upon the first cross brace, wherein the weight stack unit includes a pair of weight stack guide rails; a weight stack slidably engaged with the pair of weight stack guide rails; a lifting rod selectively engageable with a portion of the movable weight stack; a weight stack pulley connected to the lifting rod; and a cable connected to the weight stack pulley configured for user engagement to lift the portion of the moveable weight stack.

A functional trainer system for incorporation into a frame, the system comprising
- a base structure including a first cross brace configured for attachment laterally between two opposing sides of the frame at a base and rear end of the frame;
- a weight stack unit configured to seat at least partially upon the first cross brace, wherein the weight stack unit comprises
- a pair of weight stack guide rails;
- a weight stack slidably engaged with the pair of weight stack guide rails;
- a lifting rod selectively engageable with a portion of the movable weight stack;
- a weight stack pulley connected to the lifting rod;
- and
- a cable connected to the weight stack pulley configured for user engagement to lift the portion of the moveable weight stack.
