Abstract
A cladding protection device for placement around a column. The cladding protection device includes a first guard having a first side wall. At least one first coupling element is on a free end portion of the first side wall of the first guard. A second guard includes a first side wall. At least one first mating coupling element is on a free end portion of the first side wall of the second guard. At least one lock is configured to slide between an unlocked orientation and a locked orientation when the first guard and the second guard are coupled together, wherein the unlocked orientation is configured to permit decoupling of the first guard and the second guard, and the locked orientation is configured to prevent decoupling of the first guard and the second guard.

A cladding protection device for placement around a column, the cladding protection device comprising:
- a first guard comprising a first side wall;
- at least one first coupling element on a free end portion of the first side wall of the first guard;
- a second guard comprising a first side wall;
- at least one first mating coupling element on a free end portion of the first side wall of the second guard, wherein the at least one first coupling element of the first guard is configured to engage the at least one first mating coupling element of the second guard to couple the first guard and the second guard together;
- and
- at least one lock configured to slide between an unlocked orientation and a locked orientation when the first guard and the second guard are coupled together, wherein the unlocked orientation is configured to permit decoupling of the first guard and the second guard, and the locked orientation is configured to prevent decoupling of the first guard and the second guard.
