Abstract

A dust extractor includes a first and a second valve arrangement and a pre-separator tank with a pre-filter system. The pre-filter system includes a first part and a second part. Each valve arrangement is configured to generate a reverse flow of air to clean an associated part of the pre-filter system, in response to actuation of a respective trigger device configured to place the valve arrangement in a pre-filter cleaning position. The first valve arrangement is associated with cleaning of the first part of the pre-filter system and the second valve arrangement is associated with cleaning of the second part of the pre-filter system. Actuation of the trigger devices can be performed alternately wherein only one of the first and second valve arrangements is placed in its pre-filter cleaning position, or with time overlap wherein both the first and the second valve arrangements are placed in their respective pre-filter cleaning positions.

Dependent claims

A valve arrangement configured to generate a reverse flow of air to clean a pre-filter for a heavy-duty dust extractor, the valve arrangement comprising:

a main valve closure body arranged to move between a first position and a second position,
wherein, in the first position, the main valve closure body is arranged to seal a passage between an ambient pressure side and a low pressure side of the valve arrangement,
wherein, in the second position, the main valve closure body is arranged to seal a passage between the low pressure side of the valve arrangement and a suction conduit,
the valve arrangement further comprising:
a control body, connected to the main valve closure body, such that a position of the main valve closure body is determined by a position of the control body,
a control chamber, partially defined by the control body, whereby a volume of the control chamber is variable in relation to the position of the control body, and
a control chamber valve having an open state and a closed state for regulating a pressure in the control chamber,
wherein the state of the control chamber valve is determined by a trigger device.

a control body, connected to the main valve closure body, such that a position of the main valve closure body is determined by a position of the control body,
a control chamber, partially defined by the control body, whereby a volume of the control chamber is variable in relation to the position of the control body, and
a control chamber valve having an open state and a closed state for regulating a pressure in the control chamber,
wherein the state of the control chamber valve is determined by a trigger device.
