Temperature control accessories for charcoal-fueled kettle grills

A temperature control system for a kettle grill, the temperature control system comprising:

• a support ring including an upper rim, a lower rim, and a sidewall, the upper rim of the support ring configured to interface with a lid of the kettle grill, the lower rim of the support ring configured to interface with a firebox of the kettle grill, the sidewall of the support ring extending between the upper rim and the lower rim of the support ring;
• a housing coupled to the sidewall of the support ring, the housing located radially outward from the sidewall of the support ring;
• an airflow generator located within the housing, the airflow generator configured to generate a flow of air, the flow of air to pass from the airflow generator, through an opening formed in the sidewall of the support ring, and into a cooking chamber of the kettle grill;
• and
• a controller operatively couplable to the airflow generator, the controller configured to operate the airflow generator to control a temperature within the cooking chamber.
