Furthermore, an illumination environment of a space in which imaging is performed is detected, imaging for generating a captured image to be used for generation of three-dimensional shape information expressing a three-dimensional shape of a 3D object is performed in the space, and information regarding the detected illumination environment is associated with the captured image.
