Abstract

A discharge detection unit 1 that can detect noise superimposed on a voltage or current of an electric circuit to which the load is connected by being electrically connected to an electric circuit to which a load is connected, the discharge detection unit includes a filter unit 11 that can output a waveform of passed noise in a high frequency band without passing noise at a commercial frequency band and in a low frequency band by cutting noise of a predetermined frequency or lower superimposed on the voltage or current of the electric circuit, a counting unit 12 that can calculate the number of waveform detections in a predetermined time from a waveform passed through the filter unit, and an arithmetic processing unit 13 that can determine presence or absence of noise caused by discharge in the electric circuit using the number of times detected calculated by the counting unit.
