Abstract

An air conditioner comprises an indoor unit and an outdoor unit. The outdoor unit includes: an outdoor unit housing, and a partition wall partitioning the inside of the outdoor unit housing into a first space and a second space; a control box arranged in the first space, a fan arranged in the second space and configured to discharge air to the outside of the outdoor unit housing, and a duct connecting the control box and the partition wall. The partition wall comprises a partition wall hole allowing the first space and the second space to be in communication with each other, the control box comprises a box hole allowing the first space and the inside of the control box to be in communication with each other, and the duct is provided to allow the partition wall hole and the box hole to be in communication with each other.
