Abstract
Provided is an air conditioning system. The air conditioning system includes a heat pump provided to heat or cool a circulating refrigerant, an air heating device provided to burn a fuel so as to heat circulating water so that air is heated by the heated water, and an intermediate heat exchanger provided to exchange heat between the refrigerant and the water.

An air conditioning system comprising:
- a heat pump provided to heat or cool a circulating refrigerant;
- an air heating device provided to burn a fuel so as to heat circulating water so that air is heated by the heated water;
- an intermediate heat exchanger provided to exchange heat between the refrigerant and the water;
- and
- a processor electrically connected to the heat pump and the air heating device,
- wherein the processor is configured to be connected to sensors provided in the heat pump and the air heating device, and is configured to control the heat pump and the air heating device to operate according to a heating mode, a cooling mode or a defrost mode using information received from the sensors.

- wherein the processor is configured to be connected to sensors provided in the heat pump and the air heating device, and is configured to control the heat pump and the air heating device to operate according to a heating mode, a cooling mode or a defrost mode using information received from the sensors.
