Abstract
A conduit coupler is provided including a first annular portion extending along a longitudinal axis and a second annular portion extending long the longitudinal axis. The second annular portion is longitudinally offset from the first annular portion, and a shoulder is positioned longitudinally intermediate the first annular portion and the second annular portion. Further, a recessed portion is positioned within the first annular portion, and a resilient member is configured to sit within the recessed portion.
Claims20
A conduit bank assembly comprising:
- a first conduit assembly comprising:
- a first conduit;
- and
- a first coupler coupled to the first conduit, the first coupler comprising:
- a first coupler annular portion extending along a longitudinal axis between a first coupler first end and a first coupler second end;
- one or more first coupler annular recesses positioned within the first coupler annular portion;
- and
- a first coupler seal configured to sit within the one or more first coupler annular recesses;
- and
- an encasing material surrounding a first length of the first conduit assembly, the first length including a first conduit length and a first coupler length.
A method of making a conduit bank assembly, the method comprising:
- coupling a first coupler to a first end of a first conduit to form a first conduit assembly;
- positioning the first conduit assembly within a first support;
- and
- positioning the first conduit assembly and the first support within a mold.
