Machine for washing and/or decontaminating objects, for applications in the chemical, pharmaceutical and/or clinical/preclinical research fields, and method of operation of said machine

A machine for washing and/or decontaminating objects, for applications in the chemical, pharmaceutical and/or clinical/preclinical research fields, comprising:

• a box-shaped body, defining a treatment chamber, said treatment chamber having at least one entrance;
• a door, associated with said entrance and controllable between a closed condition, in which it closes said entrance, and an open condition, in which it does not close said entrance;
• an inflatable gasket, extending along a perimeter of said door, said inflatable gasket being controllable between an inflated configuration, in which it generates a sealed closure when said door is in the closed condition, and a deflated configuration;
• at least one latch, controllable between an operating condition, in which it locks the door in the closed condition, and a rest condition, in which it exerts no locking action;
• a pneumatic circuit, acting upon said inflatable gasket to bring it into the inflated configuration;
• wherein said at least one latch houses part of said pneumatic circuit.
