Device, a system, and a method for interferometry detection

A system for interferometry detection, said system comprising:

• a splitter configured to receive a light signal and configured to split the light signal into receive a reference beam and a sample beam, or a receiver unit configured to receive the reference beam and the sample beam formed by splitting the light signal, wherein the system is configured to output the sample beam towards a sample for interacting with the sample beam to form a response beam carrying information of the sample;
• an array of interferometry detection units configured to detect spatially resolved information of the sample based on each interferometry detection unit being configured to detect information relating to a unique spatial position,
• wherein each interferometry detection unit comprises:
• at least a first waveguide system configured to receive a first optical signal, wherein the first optical signal is the reference beam or the response beam, wherein the first waveguide system is configured to transport the first optical signal along different path lengths to a plurality of first outputs;
• a plurality of light sensors, wherein each light sensor is configured to receive a combination of the reference beam and the response beam forming an interference of the reference beam and the response beam, wherein different light sensors of the plurality of light sensors are associated with different first outputs of the plurality of first outputs of the first waveguide system such that a path length of the reference beam in relation to a path length of the response beam is different for the different light sensors, wherein the plurality of light sensors are configured to simultaneously detect interference of the reference beam and the response beam corresponding to different path length relations.

A method for interferometry detection, said method comprising:

• receiving a reference beam and a response beam, wherein the response beam is a response to a sample beam formed by splitting a light signal into the reference beam and the sample beam and wherein the sample beam is directed towards a sample for interacting with the sample beam to form the response beam carrying information of the sample;
• receiving, by a first waveguide system, a first optical signal, wherein the first optical signal is the reference beam or the response beam,
• transporting, by the first waveguide system, the first optical signal along different path lengths to a plurality of first outputs;
• receiving, by a plurality of light sensors, a combination of the reference beam and the response beam forming an interference of the reference beam and the response beam, wherein a path length of the reference beam in relation to a path length of the response beam is different for different light sensors;
• and
• simultaneously detecting, by the plurality of light sensors, interference of the reference beam and the response beam corresponding to different path length relations.
