Abstract
The present application relates to aqueous compositions for controlling a plant disease caused by a phytopathogenic organism, to methods of preparing such compositions and to uses of such compositions, for example for controlling a plant disease caused by a phytopathogenic organism. The aqueous compositions comprise copper ions, phosphorous acid and/or a salt thereof and an effective amount of an amine selected from an alkylamine, an alkanolamine and mixtures thereof. The pH of the compositions is from about 6 to about 10.
Claims20
An aqueous composition for controlling a plant disease caused by a phytopathogenic organism, the composition comprising:
- (a) copper ions;
- (b) phosphorous acid and/or a salt thereof;
- and
- (c) monoethanolamine,
- wherein the aqueous composition is prepared by combining a source of copper ions in an amount of from about 2 weight % (wt %) to about 8 wt %;
- the phosphorous acid in an amount of from about 12 wt % to about 20 wt %;
- and
- monoethanolamine in an amount of from greater than 25 wt % to less than 40 wt %, and
- wherein the pH of the composition is from about 6 to about 10, and all wt % are based on the total weight (wt) of the composition.
