Abstract
A collation system of the present invention includes imaging means for acquiring a captured image of a pre-passage side area with respect to each of gates arranged in parallel with each other, and collation means for performing a collation process on the captured image of the pre-passage side area for each of the gates, between a previously registered target and a target included in the captured image. The collation means performs the collation process on the basis of a target in the captured image corresponding to one of the gates and a target in the captured image corresponding to another one of the gates.

An information processing method comprising:
- acquiring a first captured image that is a captured image of a pre-passage side area with respect to a first gate;
- acquiring a second captured image that is a captured image of a pre-passage side area with respect to a second gate adjacent to the first gate, the second captured image including at least a part of a pre-passage side area with respect to the first gate;
- acquiring determination information indicating a size of at least a portion of a person appearing in the first captured image;
- when the determination information satisfies a predetermined determination criterion, determining the person appearing in the first captured image is moving toward to the first gate;
- and
- when the determination information does not satisfy the predetermined determination criterion, determining whether or not the person appearing in the first captured image is moving toward to the first gate based on the first captured image and the second captured image.
An information processing system comprising:
- a memory storing instructions;
- and
- at least one processor configured to execute the instructions to:
- acquire a first captured image that is a captured image of a pre-passage side area with respect to a first gate;
- acquire a second captured image that is a captured image of a pre-passage side area with respect to a second gate adjacent to the first gate, the second captured image including at least a part of a pre-passage side area with respect to the first gate;
- acquire determination information indicating a size of at least a portion of a person appearing in the first captured image;
- when the determination information satisfies a predetermined determination criterion, determine the person appearing in the first captured image is moving toward to the first gate;
- and
- when the determination information does not satisfy the predetermined determination criterion, determine whether or not the person appearing in the first captured image is moving toward to the first gate based on the first captured image and the second captured image.
A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing a program, the program comprising instructions for causing a computer to execute processes to:
- acquire a first captured image that is a captured image of a pre-passage side area with respect to a first gate;
- acquire a second captured image that is a captured image of a pre-passage side area with respect to a second gate adjacent to the first gate, the second captured image including at least a part of a pre-passage side area with respect to the first gate;
- acquire determination information indicating a size of at least a portion of a person appearing in the first captured image;
- when the determination information satisfies a predetermined determination criterion, determine the person appearing in the first captured image is moving toward to the first gate;
- and
- when the determination information does not satisfy the predetermined determination criterion, determine whether or not the person appearing in the first captured image is moving toward to the first gate based on the first captured image and the second captured image.
