Aircraft takeoff management system

A system for coordinating takeoff of a first aircraft and a second aircraft, the system comprising:

• one or more memories;
• and
• processing circuitry coupled to the one or more memories and configured to:
• receive, from a first computing device of the first aircraft, first flight data for the first aircraft;
• determine a separation distance between the first aircraft and the second aircraft based on the first flight data;
• receive, from a second computing device of the second aircraft, second flight data for the second aircraft;
• determine a runway takeoff length for the second aircraft based on the second flight data;
• select, from a plurality of ingress points for a runway, an ingress point for the second aircraft based on the separation distance and the runway takeoff length;
• and
• transmit an indication of the ingress point to the second aircraft.

A system of an aircraft, the system comprising:

• one or more memories;
• and
• processing circuitry coupled to the one or more memories and configured to:
• receive, via an input device, first flight plan data, wherein the first flight plan data configures a flight management system of the avionics to cause the aircraft to follow a flight path defined by the first flight plan data;
• determine second flight plan data based on the first flight plan data, wherein the second flight plan data comprises one or more indicators of a takeoff weight of the aircraft;
• transmit the second flight plan data to an external computing system;
• in response to transmitting the second flight data, receive from the external computing system, an indication of an ingress point for a runway;
• and
• cause a display to output an airport map, wherein the airport map includes an annotation identifying the ingress point.
