Automated vendor invoice dispute system

A system for determining an invoice dispute strategy, the system comprising:

• memory that stores computer-executable instructions;
• and
• a processor in communication with the memory, wherein the computer-executable instructions, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to:
• retrieve invoice information from an end user database, wherein the invoice information indicates an invoice ID, an invoice status, an invoice amount, and an invoice type associated with a shipment of goods to an end user;
• retrieve shipping data that indicates at least that the shipment of goods was delivered to the end user;
• extract, from the invoice information and the shipping data, the indication of the invoice ID, the invoice status, the invoice amount, the invoice type associated with the shipment of goods, and the indication that the shipment of goods was delivered to the end user;
• determine, based at least on the invoice amount and the indication that the shipment of goods was delivered to the end user, to dispute the invoice amount;
• generate, based on the determination to dispute the invoice amount, a dispute message associated with the shipment of goods, wherein the dispute message indicates at least the invoice ID, that the invoice type is invalid, an invoice status of disputed, and a disputed payment amount;
• and
• transmit the dispute message to the end user.
