Foldable electronic device

A foldable electronic device, comprising:

• a first housing, a second housing, and a hinge portion configured to connect the first housing and the second housing;
• a first display disposed in the first housing and the second housing, and disposed across the hinge portion;
• a second display located on an opposite side of the first display and disposed in the first housing;
• a display driver integrated circuit disposed on a rear surface of the second display;
• a printed circuit board accommodated in the first housing;
• and
• a battery accommodated in the first housing,
• wherein the first housing comprises:
• a first lateral portion and a second lateral portion configured to extend in a first direction perpendicular to a folding axis of the foldable electronic device and spaced apart from each other in a second direction of the folding axis, and
• a third lateral portion spaced apart from the folding axis in the first direction and configured to extend in the second direction,
• wherein, when viewed from above the second display, the printed circuit board is positioned between the battery and the third lateral portion of the first housing,
• wherein the battery comprises a first part including battery cells and a second part including a battery protection circuit,
• wherein, when viewed from above the second display, the second part of the battery is positioned between the first part of the battery and the first lateral portion of the first housing,
• wherein the second part of the battery is positioned farther away from the second display than the first part of the battery, and
• wherein, when viewed from above the second display, the display driver integrated circuit is configured to extend in the first direction and overlap the second part of the battery.
