Abstract
A removal determination device for an exhaust gas control apparatus determines that the exhaust gas control apparatus is accommodated in a casing that communicates with an exhaust pipe of an engine. The removal determination device outputs, in a case where an input temperature detected by an input temperature sensor decreases within a period that is predetermined from a start of the engine, the input temperature detected by the input temperature sensor before decreasing of the input temperature, and determines whether the exhaust gas control apparatus is disposed in the casing based on the output input temperature and an output temperature detected by an output temperature sensor.
Claims4
A removal determination device for an exhaust gas control apparatus for determining that the exhaust gas control apparatus is accommodated in a casing that communicates with an exhaust pipe of an engine, the removal determination device comprising:
- an input temperature sensor configured to detect a temperature of an upstream side of the casing;
- an output temperature sensor configured to detect a temperature of a downstream side of the casing;
- and
- a controller configured to determine presence or absence of the exhaust gas control apparatus in the casing,
- wherein the controller includes
- a noise removal processing unit configured to output, in a case where an input temperature detected by the input temperature sensor decreases within a period that is predetermined from a start of the engine, the input temperature detected by the input temperature sensor before decreasing of the input temperature, and
- a determination unit configured to determine whether the exhaust gas control apparatus is disposed in the casing based on the input temperature output from the noise removal processing unit and an output temperature detected by the output temperature sensor.
