Pneumatically supported towers for low gravity applications

An inflatable tower system comprising:

• a plurality of inflatable towers, each of the inflatable towers comprising:
• a payload platform located at a top end of the inflatable tower and configured to support a payload;
• a membrane configured to be inflated to support the payload platform;
• and
• a gas source configured to inflate the membrane;
• and
• a connection structure connecting the payload platforms at the top ends of the plurality of inflatable towers.

A method of deploying an inflatable tower system, comprising:

• placing a plurality of inflatable towers at a location on a Moon for deployment, each of the inflatable towers comprising a membrane;
• supplying a gas into the membrane of each of the inflatable towers to inflate the inflatable towers;
• connecting top ends of the inflatable towers using a connection structure;
• and
• supporting a payload on a payload platform located at the top end of the inflatable tower system.

An inflatable tower system comprising:

• a plurality of inflatable towers, each of the inflatable towers comprising a membrane configured to be inflated to support a payload platform located at a top end of the inflatable tower system;
• a gas source configured to inflate the membranes of the inflatable towers;
• and
• a connection structure connecting the payload platforms at the top ends of the plurality of inflatable towers.
