A joint-sealing element for fireproof sealing of building-structure joints finds application in fireproof sealing of a high movement joint between a first building part and a second building part, with a stiffening component and a sealing material connected to the stiffening component. The scaling material has, as an elastomeric material, ethylene propylene diene monomer rubber, styrene-butadiene rubber, silicone rubber, highly chlorinated polyvinyl chloride, or a polymer based on polysiloxane. The joint-scaling element for fireproof sealing of building-structure joints finds application in a sealing arrangement and a method involves fireproof sealing of movement building-structure joints with the joint-sealing element.
