A joint-sealing element for fireproof sealing of building-structure joints finds application in fireproof sealing of a high movement joint between a first building part and a second building part, with a carrier element, a sealing material disposed on this carrier element and a stiffening element. The stiffening element has a rigid material. A joint-sealing element for fireproof sealing of a movement joint on a building construction and/or on a building structure, optionally for fireproof sealing of a joint between a first building part and a second building part, the joint-sealing element comprising:
- a carrier element,
- a sealing material disposed on the carrier element, and
- a stiffening element,
- wherein the stiffening element comprises a rigid material.
