Abstract
The present disclosure relates to a positive electrode active material. The positive electrode active material includes a crystal structure belonging to a space group Pnma and an X-ray diffraction pattern satisfying a relationship of “5.8≤I(200)/I(020)”, wherein “I(200)” represents an integrated intensity of a 200 diffraction peak and “I(020)” represents an integrated intensity of a 020 diffraction pattern.
Claims10
A positive electrode active material comprising a crystal structure belonging to a space group Pnma and an X-ray diffraction pattern satisfying a relationship of 5.8≤I(200)/I(020), wherein
- the I(200) represents an integrated intensity of a 200 diffraction peak, and the I(020) represents an integrated intensity of a 020 diffraction peak.
A method for producing a positive electrode active material, the method comprising:
- charging a precursor of the positive electrode active material into a graphite crucible;
- placing, in a heat treatment furnace in a nitrogen atmosphere, the graphite crucible into which the precursor has been charged;
- increasing a temperature in the heat treatment furnace to 200° C. at a temperature increase rate of 3° C./min;
- maintaining the temperature in the heat treatment furnace at 200° C. for 1 hour;
- increasing the temperature in the heat treatment furnace to 1000° C. at a temperature increase rate of 5° C./min;
- maintaining the temperature in the heat treatment furnace at 1000° C. for 5 hours;
- decreasing the temperature in the heat treatment furnace to 600° C. at a temperature decrease rate of 10° C./min;
- maintaining the temperature in the heat treatment furnace at 600° C. for 5 hours;
- and
- decreasing the temperature in the heat treatment furnace to room temperature at a temperature decrease rate of 15° C./min.
