Abstract
The present invention relates to a silo system comprising one or more essentially rectangular silo cells, each silo cell comprising an inlet part at the upper end, an intermediate body part, a hopper part and an outlet at the lower end, wherein said hopper part comprises a transition funnel restricting the passage from an initial rectangular cross section in the body part to an intermediate rounded rectangular cross section in the transition funnel to a final cross section at the outlet. The inventions also relates to a method for constructing such silo system.
