Abstract
A vehicle may include a sensor unit configured to detect an occupant entering the vehicle, and a control device configured to determine occupant information for each seat based on a detection signal from the sensor unit and selectively control locking and unlocking of at least one of a door or a window of a seat on which the occupant sits according to the occupant information.

A vehicle comprising:
- a sensor configured to generate a detection signal associated with an occupant entering the vehicle;
- a processor;
- and
- a memory storing at least one instruction that, when executed by the processor communicating with the memory, is configured to cause the vehicle to:
- determine, based on the detection signal from the sensor, occupant information for a plurality of seats of the vehicle;
- and
- selectively control, based on the occupant information, locking or unlocking of at least one of a door associated with a seat on which the occupant sits or a window associated with the seat.

A method performed by an apparatus of a vehicle, the method comprising:
- detecting, via a sensor installed in the vehicle, an occupant entering the vehicle;
- determining, based on the detected occupant, a position of the occupant in a seat of the vehicle, and
- determining, based on the position, occupant information of the occupant;

- selectively controlling, based on the occupant information, locking or unlocking of at least one of a door associated with the seat or a window associated with the seat.
