Abstract
A battery electric vehicle having a plurality of modes in which output control of a motor with respect to an operation input from a driver is different includes a control device. The modes include a manual operation mode in which output characteristics of the motor upon acceleration are switchable in multiple stages through operation of a pair of right and left switches provided at a steering wheel or a steering column. The control device is configured to execute mode switching between the manual operation mode and another mode by two or more operation interfaces being operated without at least one of the pair of right and left switches being operated.

A battery electric vehicle having a plurality of modes in which output control of a motor with respect to an operation input from a driver is different, the battery electric vehicle comprising a control device, wherein:
- the modes include a manual operation mode in which output characteristics of the motor upon acceleration are switchable in multiple stages through operation of a pair of right and left switches provided at a steering wheel or a steering column;
- and
- the control device is configured to execute mode switching between the manual operation mode and another mode by two or more operation interfaces being operated without at least one of the pair of right and left switches being operated.
A non-transitory storage medium storing instructions that are executable by a computer mounted on a battery electric vehicle including a pair of right and left switches provided at a steering wheel or a steering column, the instructions causing the computer to execute functions comprising:
- making a plurality of modes selectable in the battery electric vehicle, the modes being modes in which output control of a motor with respect to an operation input from a driver is different, the modes including a manual operation mode in which output characteristics of the motor upon acceleration are switchable in multiple stages through operation of the pair of right and left switches;
- and
- executing mode switching between the manual operation mode and another mode when two or more operation interfaces are operated without at least one of the pair of right and left switches being operated.
