Abstract
The present invention provides an internal pallet loader for a CNC machine, comprising: a pallet gripper mounted to a CNC mill; one or more of a pneumatic, hydraulic, or electric actuator for the pallet gripper; and a pallet tray, wherein the actuator is configured to move the pallet gripper to reach the pallet tray and exchange pallets between the tray and the worktable.
Claims11
An internal pallet loader for a CNC machine, comprising:
- a pallet gripper mounted to a CNC mill;
- one or more of a pneumatic, hydraulic, or electric actuator for the pallet gripper and a pallet tray, wherein the actuator is configured to move the pallet gripper to reach the pallet tray and/or to reach the pallet on the zero-point chuck system mounted to the machine table.
The internal pallet loader on a three-axis machine as described in claim three, where one or more additional axes of movement are provided by the addition of a trunnion or rotary table.
