Abstract
A structure that contains a TiAl alloy and that can enhance mechanical properties is provided. A structure of the present embodiment is a structure that contains a TiAl alloy, and comprises a solidified portion composed of a TiAl alloy. The metallographic structure of the solidified portion has a cross section including a directional control area in which an α2 phase and a β phase are alternately arranged, with the α2 phase being elongated in a predetermined direction, and the β phase being elongated in the elongation direction of the α2 phase.

A structure containing a TiAl alloy, comprising:
- a solidified portion composed of a TiAl alloy,
- wherein a metallographic structure of the solidified portion has:
- a cross section including a directional control area in which an α2 phase and a β phase are alternately arranged, with the α2 phase being elongated in a predetermined direction, and the β phase being elongated in an elongation direction of the α2 phase.
