Flow path forming member, manufacturing method therefor, and manufacturing apparatus thereof

A manufacturing method for a flow path forming member that forms a flow path through which a heat medium passes, the manufacturing method comprising:

• a step of preparing a workpiece having a first wall surface portion and a second wall surface portion facing each other at a distance;
• a setting step of setting the workpiece in a die assembly;
• and
• a processing step of forming a mechanical deformation portion of the first wall surface portion and a mechanical deformation portion of the second wall surface portion that are integrated with each other via a joint surface by applying a local force to the workpiece outside a formation position of the flow path, the processing step being performed on the workpiece set in the die assembly, wherein
• the mechanical deformation portion of the first wall surface portion and the mechanical deformation portion of the second wall surface portion form a seal portion related to the flow path.

A manufacturing apparatus of a flow path forming member that forms a flow path through which a heat medium passes, the manufacturing apparatus comprising:

• a die assembly configured to allow a workpiece having a first wall surface portion and a second wall surface portion facing each other at a distance to be set therein, wherein
• the die assembly includes:
• a die having a groove portion;
• and
• a punch forming a mechanical deformation portion of the first wall surface portion and a mechanical deformation portion of the second wall surface portion by pushing a material of the workpiece into the groove portion, and
• the mechanical deformation portion of the first wall surface portion and the mechanical deformation portion of the second wall surface portion form a seal portion related to the flow path.
