Abstract

The present disclosure concerns a filtering device assembly comprising an inlet, an outlet, and a bypass-switch unit fluidly connectable to a filter screen unit for filtering particles, in particular plastic particles, from a flow of liquid flowing from the inlet to the outlet, the bypass-switch unit comprising a switch valve moveable between a filtering position and a bypass position, wherein in the filtering position the bypass-switch unit directs the flow of liquid through a filter screen unit, and in the bypass position the bypass-switch unit bypasses the flow of liquid past the filter screen unit, characterized in that the bypass-switch unit is a passive bypass-switch unit, which is manually switchable between the filtering position and the bypass position and is switchable by pressure from the liquid flow. The disclosure further concerns a corresponding method of operating a filtering device assembly.
