Abstract
Provided are a fusion protein, and a nucleic acid molecule comprising a nucleotide sequence encoding the fusion protein. The present invention also relates to a vaccine comprising the fusion protein or the nucleic acid molecule. Furthermore, the present invention also relates to a method for preventing and/or treating RSV infections or diseases and/or symptoms caused by RSV infections by means of using the fusion protein, nucleic acid molecule and vaccine.

1-20. (canceled)
A fusion protein, comprising a first truncate, a second truncate, and a linker for linking the first truncate and the second truncate;
- wherein,
- as compared to the F2 protein of wild respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), the first truncate has 5 to 25 amino acids truncated at the N-terminal, and 3, 4 or 5 amino acids truncated at the C-terminal of the F2 protein of wild RSV;
- as compared to the F1 protein of wild RSV, the second truncate has 7, 8 or 9 amino acids truncated at the N-terminal, and 238 to 268 amino acids truncated at the C-terminal of the F1 protein of wild RSV.
