Abstract
A tip holder for holding a medical tool tip (20) for cleaning an implant, the tip holder comprising-a moving part (10) extending between a first interface section (15) and a second interface section (15′), the moving part (10) being configured to perform a vibration movement, along a vibration direction (VD) in a vibration state, when attached to a handpiece (40), wherein the first interface section (15) is configured to secure a tool tip (20) by frictional connection and wherein the second interface section (15′) is configured to attach the tool (1) to the handpiece (40) having a vibration source (30) emitting vibration in a vibrating mode.
Claims15
A tip holder for holding a medical tool tip (20) for cleaning an implant or a tooth, the tip holder comprising
- a moving part (10) extending between a first interface section (15) and a second interface section (15′), the moving part (10) being configured to perform a vibration movement, along a vibration direction (VD) in a vibration state, when attached to a handpiece (40),
- wherein the first interface section (15) is configured to secure a tool tip (20) by frictional connection and
- wherein the second interface section (15′) is configured to attach the tool (1) to the handpiece (40) having a vibration source (30) emitting vibration in a vibrating mode characterized in that the tool tip (20) is made at least partially from plastic.
The tip holder according of one of the preceding claims, wherein the first interface section (15) includes a cylinder-like or ball-like section (13), comprising a recess (17) for accommodating the tool tip (20).
The tip holder according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the moving part (10) comprises a fluid channel (11) configured to deliver a fluid from the handpiece (40) to the tool tip (20).
The tip holder according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the moving part (10) forms a shaft, the fluid channel (11) being located along an axis of the shaft.
A tip holder according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the fluid channel (11) comprises a fluid outlet located in the first interface section (15)
A tip holder according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the first interface section (15) is configured to attach the tool tip (20) in a slanted direction with respect to vibration direction (VD).
