Abstract
A tissue closure method comprises grasping a first portion of a tissue between a first arm and a central arm, restricting a sliding of a first slider while grasping the first portion, the first slider configured to open and close the first arm relative to the central arm, grasping a second portion of the tissue between a second arm and the central arm while restricting the sliding of the first slider, indwelling the first arm, the second arm, and the central arm in a body.

An operating unit of a medical device, comprising:
- a first slider attached to a first handle for controlling a first treatment unit;
- a second slider attached to a second handle for controlling a second treatment unit;
- and
- a stopper capable of limiting movement of the first slider relative to the first handle,
- wherein the first and second handles are connected at their distal ends,
- wherein the stopper is located on the first handle and, when the first slider is retracted proximally relative to the first handle, the stopper is configured to limit movement of the first slider relative to the first handle, and
- wherein, when the stopper limits movement of the first slider relative to the first handle, the second slider is slidable on the second handle.

A clip device, comprising:
- a fixed arm disposed between a first movable arm and a second movable arm;
- a first slider configured to open and close the first movable arm;
- an applicator;
- and
- a stopper configured to restrict movement of the first slider,
- wherein the stopper restricts movement of the first slider such that, when the first movable arm and the fixed arm are closed, the first movable arm is movable relative to the fixed arm only in an opening direction, and
- wherein, with the stopper restricting movement of the first slider, the second movable arm is movable relative to the fixed arm in both an opening direction and a closing direction.
