Abstract
A method for controlling a service on board a vehicle includes steps of detecting a mobile device on board the vehicle, providing a graphical representation of the mobile device, and detecting an assignment of the detected mobile device to a function of the vehicle with respect to the graphical representation.

- a sensor for detecting a mobile device on board the vehicle;
- a graphic output unit for providing a graphic representation of the detected mobile device;

- and
- a control device for controlling the function in order to provide the service.
