Abstract
A method and a card management system are for providing access to a virtual card, VC, the VC being issued to a user by a card issuer. The card management system includes an API management gateway and a virtual card, VC, handler. The VC handler is configured to receive through the API management gateway a request for VC credentials from the user; to fetch VC credentials; and to provide the VC credentials through the API management gateway to a card issuer app, for being pushed to the user for allowing a card non-present transaction on the card issuer app.

A method for providing access to a virtual card, VC, by a card management system, the VC being issued to a user by a card issuer, the card management system comprising a virtual card handler, VC handler, and an API management gateway, the method comprising:
- receiving at the VC handler a request for VC credentials, the request being sent by the user through the API management gateway;
- fetching by the VC handler VC credentials;
- and
- providing the VC credentials through the API management gateway to a card issuer app, for being pushed to the user for allowing a card non-present transaction on the card issuer app.
